To ‘celebrate’ means to mark a special day, event or holiday. We have somehow made celebrations to only be about milestone birthdays and anniversaries, and many of us do not even celebrate any event at all.
Celebrations do not have to stop because the world is on pause right now. There are so many things to be grateful for, and without thinking too far, ‘Life’ is a reason to celebrate. Everyday you wake up with breath in your nostrils is a ‘special day’ and you have to remember to be grateful.
It is easy to look at the many things you do not have or the milestones you have not achieved yet, but remember that if you ever look for a reason to be ungrateful you will find it and if you ever look for a reason to be grateful, you will also find it.
Birthdays, weddings, and other types of large gatherings might be cancelled right now but do not stop celebrating.
Celebration does not have to be an event; make it a state of being. Make it a lifestyle. If you are around family in this season, celebrate. If you are by yourself and have a roof over your head, celebrate. If you scroll through your phone and have at least 1 person to call to say hey to, celebrate.
Celebrate today, Celebrate knowing that better days are ahead.
Create memories (with or without cake) today that will make you smile 20 years from now.
Do something you have never done before, google how to bake a cookie and try it. We found one for you here which requires only 3 ingredients lol … its not about the end result but about creating magical moments in the process.
Side Note: We are running a skeletal service in this season and might not be able to deliver cakes in cities like Portharcourt that have reinstated a total lock-down. For deliveries in other states, it is best to let us know at least 24 hours before, the area and state you want delivery to so we can tell you if the delivery is possible and also have time to plan logistics
