Cake orders made for same day delivery  cannot be canceled once we have started working on the cake. For orders that require a minimum order time, the order cannot be canceled if work has already begun on the cake.

If for whatever reason a refund has to be made for a cancelled order, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged and the 75% remainder will be credited back to you.

Cake is very delicate and we try our best to ensure it is delivered in perfect condition. Unfortunately sometimes mistakes happen and sometimes the cake box touches the side of the cake causing a smudge. We unfortunately cannot return the cake to the bakery on those grounds.

Returns and/or partial refunds are only possible if the damage to the cake is material and significant.

We pride ourselves on giving the buyer exactly what was ordered, however, sometimes, especially for same day cake orders there are times minor changes have to be made to the order. We cannot give a refund in the unlikely event that:

• The toppings on the cake delivered is different from the toppings on the picture you saw
• The height/size of the cake in the picture looks different from what was delivered (you cannot tell a size of a cake by looking at a picture)
• The color of the cake delivered is different from what was ordered
• The flavor of the cake delivered is different from what was ordered

Cream cake

• Store cream cakes in a refrigerator
• Most cake are best consumed with 48 hours.(Fruit Cakes are an exception).
• To keep the cake longer, wrap with cling film and place in freezer for up to 1 month
•  Slice and serve the cake at room temperature and make sure it is not exposed to heat. – Use a serrated knife to cut a fondant cake.

• Fondant cakes should be stored in an air conditioned environment. (To avoid any damage to the cake

Tall cakes and other Sculptural elements and figurines may contain wooden skewers for support. Be mindful of this when cutting the cake.

Yes we will write a your message on the cake. A box has already been provided above the ‘add to cart button’ to write the message.

Note however that if the words are too long we reserve the right to either shorten it or write it on a note.

We reserve the right to shorten “Happy Birthday Oluwafidolafunmi” to “HBD Oluwafidolafunmi” if it wont fit on the cake cos of the size

• All our cakes are handcrafted and each decorator has his/her own way of handwriting on a cake; the hand writing used on the cake you choose might not look the same as the writing on your own cake

90% of the time the cakes delivered will look exactly like the picture on the website. However, toppings are always subject to availability and can be substituted with other available toppings. Click this link to see a picture gallery showing how we strive to replicate as much as possible.

Please, however, note the following

• All our cakes are handcrafted and there are some designs that just can’t be replicated exactly 
• Occasionally, substitutions of flavors/designs/toppings is necessary due to situations beyond our control e.g. If strawberries aren’t in season or aren’t available in store.

• Our cakes are delivered in car to ensure safe delivery – Cakes are perishable in nature and so we will attempt delivery only once. 
• For a cake to be redirected to any other address than what was initially paid for, a full delivery fee has to be paid first (the fee might be higher than the one initially paid).

We completely understand that many customers want to pull of the ultimate surprise and so do not want the celebrant to be called before delivery and we have tried to oblige this request but after a few scenarios like celebrant not showing up to work, walking away from phone for 30 minutes plus or not picking numbers they don’t know we reached a compromise that works operationally.

We call ahead the receiver on the day of delivery saying we have a package to deliver without saying who we are and what we are delivering. We ask them to expect us and keep their phones close.

If the receiver cant be reached on the phone, the buyer will be notified. (We take all these steps to ensure we avoid a situation where a delivery driver is kept waiting for more than 10 minutes).

We will deliver to the delivery address provided at checkout. Please ensure a full address is provided with house number and any landmark to make it easy for the delivery driver to locate.

3 In. High Cakes (Using 3 in. High Pans) The figures for 3 in. pans are based on a one-layer cake which is torted and filled to reach 3 in. high; fill pans 1/2 full.

4 In. High Cakes The figures for 2 in. pans are based on a two-layer, 4 in. high cake. Fill pans 1/2 to 2/3 full.

2. You can do a bank transfer into our GTB corporate account (Account Details will be provided at checkout page if you pick a bank transfer option)
